BJJ For Children

Arashi Do Martial Arts offers a fantastic specialized BJJ programs for Children of all ages.

Our Mini Monkey Program is the Only one of it’s kind in Edmonton. It offers children ages 4-7 an oppotuniry to learn the fundamentals of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu while developing Focus, Respect and Coordination.

Our Junior BJJ program allows Children ages 8-14 to develop on the basics of Self Defence and offers opportunities to compete in Sport Competition, something Arashi Do Martial Arts offers consistently throughout the year. Self Defence skills and the ability to verbalize are regularly taught in this class.

We are professional Martial Artists with over 20 years of experience, we have 19 schools in Alberta with 7 in the Edmonton Area. Our goal is to give each Child a great value for their commitment and we have a reputation that is hard to beat in Edmonton. Our programs are designed to help every one of our students achieve their goals whether it is to have fun and get fit all the way to building the self confidence to not be bullied at school.

I encourage you to go and try the other Martial Arts clubs and see how it goes, but please ask yourself some questions while you are there:

1. Do they have classes for each age group and personal time with the instructor? We split them up according to age and offer direct attention.

2. Does the school have all the equipment needed to have a great class? We have the cleanest and safest mats in the city.

3. Does each program have their own special curriculum based on the age of the students? We have a manual for each program to assist learning.

4. Does the school have a life skills program to help kids learn about bully proofing and respect? We build Confidence and teach them how to talk.

5. Does the instructor take the time to get to know your kids and help them in all areas of their life? Our Instructors will assist you in any challenge inside or outside of the school, wether it be Bullying issues, Trouble with school grades, or cleaning up a messy room :).

We at Arashi-Do Martial Arts have developed systems and instructors that take the time to get to know our students and try to do everything in our power to help turn them into great young people.

Please feel free to check out a few of their classes and if you feel that they are better equipped to give your kids all the skills they deserve then by all means sign them up there.
